This policy explains how Contemplr ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit contemplr.com, contact us, download material or subscribe to the Contemplr Brief.

Information we collect

• Contact form: your name, business email, phone number (optional), company, area of interest and message.
• Newsletter: your email address and your consent to receive the Contemplr Brief.
• Downloads: your name, business email and company when you request a resource such as the UAE e-invoicing readiness checklist.
• Direct contact: information you share by email, phone or WhatsApp.
• Usage data: if analytics is enabled, aggregated information about pages visited, device type and approximate location. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange conversations you request.
• To send the Contemplr Brief when you have subscribed.
• To follow up on resources you downloaded, where you agreed to be contacted.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for automated decisions with legal effects.

Service providers

Form submissions are relayed to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). Email is hosted by our email provider. If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics processes usage data on our behalf. Longer essays are published on Substack, which has its own privacy policy. These providers process data only to deliver their service to us.

Retention

We keep enquiry and download records for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, and newsletter records until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and US state privacy laws, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. International transfers

Our team works from the United States, Serbia, India and the UAE. Personal information may be processed in these countries with appropriate safeguards.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No online transmission is completely secure.

Children

Our website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 16.
